COOPER BELL MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

Officialy Endowed in 2007, the scholarship will support local education and students attending the University of West Georgia.  The original funds for the endowment were given through thoughtful donations to the Cooper Bell Medical Fund, which supported Cooper through treatment.  Cooper's Garden, Inc. is committed to continuing to making this scholarship one of the more special awards a student can receive, and will work to increase the endowment and annual gift for the future. 

The scholarship will be an annual gift given to an eligible student entering the College of Arts program at the University.  The first recipient will be named in early 2008. 

Scholarship Details

Students will need a minimum of a 3.0 GPA from high school.

Students will submit a personalized piece of artwork for consideration to the committee.

Scholarship will consist of an annual monetary gift to a new college freshman each year.

How to Qualify

Incoming freshmen to the University must submit their resume' and application for this scholarship to:

Cooper's Garden, Inc. will work directly with the Art Deparment to select the recipient.  Applicants must meet the minimum standards set by the committee, and also send a personal drawing or piece of artwork for consideration to the committee for review.
